We’re thrilled to announce that Twofold House won Best Inner City Living on Season 3 of Australia’s Best House, hosted by Megan Gale.
This home is full of surprises – from its folded building form to cleverly concealed bedrooms, every angle was designed to respond to the site while creating playful, practical spaces for modern city living. Collaborating with One Design Office we turned this vision into reality, with meticulous attention to detail, craftsmanship, and design resolution.

Judges praised the home’s innovative use of space, the striking raked roof, the stack-bond and timber finishes, and the seamless flow between living, kitchen, and dining areas. The rooftop terrace with sweeping views of Melbourne’s skyline was highlighted as a standout feature.
It’s very rare to come by a builder that’s so accommodating and collaborative in the process. A builder that’s also very focused on seeing your vision come to life and going the extra mile in terms of its detail and resolution to really realise everything that’s in your head as a designer.
